demandPlus+ expands the planning worksheet with two additional FactBoxes:
1. Item Availability
Filtered by item no., variant code and location code from the requisition line, the current demand and supply is displayed.
The “Availability” group is divided into “short-term quantity” and “long-term quantity”: The following calculation applies:
Short-term quantity = Inventoy – ∑Demand
Long-term quantity = short-term quantity + ∑Supply
Quantity planning = Long-term quantity – ∑Demand Req. Line + ∑Supply Req. Line
If anything has changed compared to the last run of the planning worksheet, the value is marked in “Red”. In addition, the “Quantity difference” field is set to “Yes”. A click on “Yes” opens a new page, which shows the differences to the last run:
2. Planning Parameters
Similar to item availability, the current planning parameters of the item are displayed here depending on the item number, the variant code and the location code from the requisition line. Item card planning parameters are overridden if stockkeeping units exist for the item and they are displayed accordingly in the FactBox. If anything has changed compared to the last run of the planning worksheet, the value is marked in “Red”. In addition, the Difference field is set to “Yes”.
The same FactBoxes can also be found in the item card and item list.
