To be able to use the demandPlus+ extension, 2 steps must be taken beforehand:
1. Publish Extension
An extension can be published using the NAV Administration Shell. Execute the Shell as administrator.
The extension can be published with the following command:
Publish-NAVApp -ServerInstance [Your Server Instance] -Path [Path to the extension]
The square brackets must be removed when entering your data.
2. Install Extension
After you have published the extension, it is ready to install. To install the extension, execute the following command in the NAV Administration Shell:
Install-NAVApp -ServerInstance [Your Server Instance] -Name ”demandPlus+”
The square brackets must be removed when entering your data.
3. Assisted Setup
In order to use demandPlus+, you need to run the assisted setup of demandPlus+.
Select “Set up demandPlus+” in the Assisted Setups.
Afterwards, the wizard is opened and leads you through all important steps for the correct installation of demandPlus+.
Here you can enter the necessary values for the Planning Calibration.
After finishing the wizard, the data is stored in the demandPlus+ setup table.
In addition, the status of the supported setup is set to “Completed”.
